1.5 c olive oil
3/4 c soy sauce
1/4 c worcestershire sauce
2 tsp dry mustard
1 pinch of salt
1 pinch of pepper
1/2 c wine vinegar
1/3 c lemon juice
2 c Gigi's Prickly Pear Jelly
Pour mixture over the meat and let marinade overnight, turning periodically to assure coverage of the whole dish. Prepare met as desired, and during final 10 minutes of cooking baste meat with 1/2 c PRICKLY PEAR JELLY slightly warmed.
1 lb ground beef or vegetarian alternative
1/4 c chopped onions
1/4 c chopped bell pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp yellow mustard
3/4 c ketchup
3 tsp Gigi's Prickly Pear Jelly
In a medium skillet over medium heat, brown the beef, onion, and bell pepper. Drain liquids. Stir the remaining ingredients and 3 tsp of PRICKLY PEAR JELLY into the dish and mix thoroughly. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Season to liking and spoon liberal portions onto hamburger buns
3 boneless ck breasts cubed or vegetarian alternative
4 T olive oil
1 small onion chopped
3 T minced garlic
3 T Gigi's Prickly Pear Jelly
1 T soy sauce or tamari
1 T lemon juice
4 c broccoli florets
Heat olive oil on med-high and saute onion and garlic. Add chicken, brown, stirring constantly. When chicken is browned, reduce heat and add PRICKLY PEAR JELLY, soy sauce and lemon juice. Cook until the sauce has covered the chicken evenly. Add broccoli, cook until tender to your liking and well-sauced, then serve over rice or favorite alternative.
